Cataract Surgery after Trabeculectomy

Hi Everyone!Pressure rose in my eye with trabeculectomy I had a year ago. Doctor wants me to do cataract surgery before he does bleb needling. Anyone done cataract surgery after a trabeculectomy? How was it? Did it affect your bleb? Was anything special done to minimize negative consequences on the bleb? Thanks 🙏 You all are such a help😃

I had cataract surgery three weeks after a trabeculectomy. I had a general anaesthetic because of the two previous treatments, trabeculectomy and corrective surgery, done under local anaesthetic. I found the recovery period from all these operations to be quite long - at least 3 months. Can’t comment on the needling as I’ve never had this.
