trabeculectomy bleb leak advice

Hi After my check up last week, in my summary letter it states bleb (mild suspicion); in both eyes. I had my trabeculectomy 15 years ago.

Has anyone else had leaks and how were they dealt with? They don’t want to see me again for another year.

I’m pleased to read your Trab has been 15 years… this may be my next option for both my eyes and I’m petrified!

I’m sorry I can’t help with the leak question though.

I had two leaks in my eye following my trab. Initially they were glued but when this didn't work I had a further op to insert another stitch. I still had these leaks which were once again glued and now after 5 months the leaks have healed. Apart from these leaks the op was a success. My op was at the beginning of December last year.

thank you I’m not sure what they will do I go back in 6 months. But I have been lucky the op worked well for 15 years!

Hello, I had a trab in 2010 on one eye which brought the pressure down to a consistent 9/10 until four years ago when the pressure droped to 4 last December pressure was 6 a cornea patch has been suggested has anyone any experience of this please?
