Hylo Forte V Blink : The hospital have had me... - Glaucoma UK
Hylo Forte V Blink
I had Hylo-forte for a while, then I was given a small bottle of Xaillin HA and now I have Hyback which lasts 90 days. All these were given for dry eyes and really helpful if I use them regularly.
I wonder if they are advising that you have different quantities of the bottles because they vary so much in size and so can last from 1 month to 6 months.
Thank you for replying, a bottle of hylo only lasts about 3 weeks max due to all the dryness I get, when I'm working it can be less than that as I work with computers in a dry atmosphere, just looked at the Blink and one bottle should last 40 days, so I'm certainly getting a lesser amount of usage, I'm sure it's due to a, cost issue, but no one has thought to tell me
Yes, I had problems with not getting enough dry eye drops too, so I explained how much I used and they now give me 3 bottles at a time.
The opthalmic consultant advised me to use more drops, so I repeat this message to the surgery, and it has worked ! I also tell them what dry eyes feels like.
Often the girls at the pharmacy do not know much about eyes, so sometimes it is worth explaining a bit. Sometimes I do feel it is a bit of a battle, but it is worth persevering , good luck.
