Oral thrush

I gave birth 01-02-2019.

And when they sent me and my baby home we both had oral thrush, we've both been treated but still have the thrush.

It's been almost 3 months and I'm scared my newborn is having it worse than me because I can brush my teeth and tongue every day and he can't.

I've tried coconut oil on our tongue's and nothing.

We've both also had anti fungal medications that have had no results.

Please if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Is there any mold in your home? Any evidence of water damage? Peeling paint, discoloration? Any carpets that were ever wet?

That would make you continually susceptible to infection from Candida.

There are several antifungal medications that can be prescribed so it is best to return to the doctor who is currently treating yourself and your baby and they will adjust accordingly - this is quite normal and routine as fungi can become resistant to some antifungal medication, something your doctor will be very aware of.
