Hi Mr. Gatherton...I cannot find the reply you sent when I was worried about having to go on a NTM course and the difficulty of taking Rifampin with itraconazole. I mentioned to my pulmonologist that your hospital and drs. have a way of balancing ...you sent a website or number or both that my pulmonologist could contact if need be. Please resend as I may be headed in that direction. Itra. not working and symptoms may be NTM as in past. Thank you

Thank you, that looks like the one. My Dr. mentioned that I may have to go on MAC drugs and I told him I believe there was a specific physician he could contact to find out how Rifampin dosage is handled as I will still need to be on itraconazole and it is contradicted because of the reduction in efficiency of Rifampin while on Itra. Is there a Dr. who specializes in the balance when prescribing both of these meds.? It would be easier if I were to give him a name along with the reference phone number on this site but I will certainly pass this along and thank you so much for your response.
