Sorry I thought I had written about this already but found that I had just replied to individual questions.

Appointment was wonderful. Really good people. Was there for 3 hourse with blood tests talking to Docs, nurses and physio. Are just going to watch the nodule for now as think it is an aspergillus nodule and may go of it's own accord, may stay as it is or may grow. Got breathing exercises, for bringing up sputum. and got lots of reading matter. Looking forward to my next appointment which is on Oct 2nd. Have to send in 4 sputum samples to them - sent one yesterday and will do another early next week. This was one of the best decisions I have made.

Hello. Any mention of antifungal drugs. Or have you mentioned that before and I missed it?

No not been prescribed any yet. Think they are waiting for results of blood and sputum tests first.

His - delighted that your appointment went so well. Look forward to hearing the next part. Thank you for sharing this.

UHSM is a magical place . Just wish all hospitals were as good. Prof Denning runs a wonderful unit and I am so delighted to be able to be part of it.

What lucky people we are to have this in the NHS. We must protect it at all costs.

Does anyone think fundraising a good idea?

Yes i am going to make a donation but there are probably things we can do to fundraise.
