Computer mouse

Anyone had a mouse bought for them by work? Occ health said to get one but left it to me to decide what type! Hmm..useful. I wonder about the evoluent one. It's big but sideways. A joystick type would hurt my thumbs. My main pain is in in wrists, thumbs, knuckles and joints nearest knuckles.

Thanks

If you have other needs why not contact Access to Work they will check everything regarding desk, chair and acessories as well as consider things such as payment towards cab for work and disabled toilets

Hi

The only thing I miss about going over to my Apple computer is my Evoluent Mouse I found it the single most comfortable mouse I have ever used. It is just like an ordinary mouse but on its side with the normal buttons and some more that you can program in (I never did as the ordinary ones are/were enough for me).

I had this mouse at home and after my carpal tunnel it was amazing how quickly I was able to use it after the operation.

I had my carpal tunnels done as the problems in my neck were classed as pre-existing on the insurance but the carpals we new so were covered by the insurance. (Did help a bit but still have the dead fingers and the pins and needles in them also)

Take care and kindest regards

Terry
