Safe to take codeine after covid vaccination?

Hi I know this is probably a stupid question but is it safe to take codeine straight after covid vaccination?

Not stupid at all…. I also take codeine as well as other strong prescription drugs and asked at the vaccination place the same question. Fortunately, my person doing the jabs was a GP and explained that as the vaccination programme was so new she advised that if there were any problems after the jab then to record them officially to help the research but she hadn’t heard of any complaints from codeine users following the vaccination. I had a booster last week and am fine but we’re all individuals. Hope that helps a little.
