Bilateral stimulation is meant to make you PURR! If you click on the link, all will be explained ... by rhythmic tapping on the body, the ANS (autonomic nervous system ) is calmed down, and may (with luck) shift from the 'fight and flight' mode to the 'rest and digest' mode. Serious chronic disruption to the nervous system is at the root of FND .. in the majority (all?) of cases, so regulating the ANS is very important whatever our differing symptoms. That's why deep breathing is recommended too. Enjoy the purring.

yay!

There is a therapist on youtube called Emma Mcadam, who has a lot of videos under the banner of 'Therapy in a Nutshell' .. they are very educative in terms of the nervous system, and favour body based therapies over mind based ones.
