Love this so much. I agree. We all should have this on a wall or mirror to remind ourselves every single day. We are so much stronger than I think we probably all thought we would ever be.

Do you have a crisis hot line programmed into your phone and an action plan for when things get hard? These were essential when my daughter had suicidal thoughts. Our house is also set up to delay anyone from accessing knifes, rope,or pills. They say if you can delay yourself for 60 seconds from harmful things then reason can prevail. Just remember you are needed here.

Hi, your doing amazing, but please reach out to a helpline if you feel like your not coping. Are you UK or US?

I'm UK yes I am trying my hardest to keep myself alive I had the crisis team in my house from the mental health clinic I attended, I had phoned them for help,I handed over 7 pkts of Nurofen that I had to take an overdose.I suffer from borderline personality disorder I was meant to get help with that but I cancelled the appointment because talking hasn't stopped me from trying to take my life in the past,6 times in just over a year. I need to be here because my wee grandson got put in to care and he adores me i'm allowed to see him every Two months.I just can't cope with the constant battle in my head I can't put in to words how frustrated i'm because I so badly want to be dead but i'm being made to stay alive because of my grandson,I feel terrible for saying that because I love the wee man more than anything on this earth..Thanks for your reply.X

How old is he?

Perhaps if you get help with managing your symptoms, this in turn help should help lower your anxiety levels. The best way to deal with FND is to have a multi-disciplinary team supporting us, thats OT, PT (preferably neuro) and psychology and to try and practise light rejuvenating exercise like yoga, good for mind and body.

Do you have a social worker or family member that can help you access these services?

I don't have a social worker I do have 2 sons but they work, I have gave up trying to get help, don't think I would do any sort of exercise because my legs are always numb and in pain,I have to lie in my bed somtimes for atleast an hour before I can even move in the morning.Need to go to my bed i'm so drained my friend was on the phone and it take a lot out of me.

Oh bless, he sounds such a sweet little boy and ADHD can be challenging so its good he has someone to meet his daily needs and that you can both get to see him too.

Hopefully the siblings will re-unite when they are older too.
