A way to release body tension?

The link below shows how releasing the fascia(body connective tissue) in the hands and feet can help with body tension. The fascia in these areas is tighter, because of being at the extremities of the body and holds more tension. I am finding the exercises trigger the same shaking/shouting response that comes from unwelcome sensory input ( heat, electronic noises) ..but doing the exercises puts me in control, whilst dissipating some of the tension. As we know from the 'beyondpain' clinic purposeful shaking is good for the nervous system. The tension release , according to the therapist will also help realign your body. She also has other clips on youtube.
