Feeling very dizzy today

Hi. I can totally empathize. It's so frustrating when quite simple tasks wear you out!
I've been in a flare for weeks now. The dizzys and fatigue are out of my control.
And I think one thing people fail to mention is how unwell it can make you feel. Really ill sometimes. I try to listen to my body and pace myself. But I've had family visit recently (we live 200 miles apart)
They are very understanding. But l can't expect them to entertain themselves. So I overdid things and now I'm paying the price.
But littlecook. If your body is saying sleep then listen to it and rest.
I hope your symptoms improve soon.
Hazel.
Hello Hazel How right you are ,, the tiredness and sleep apnea just pulls you down the tiredness is a poorly tiredness, I feel like I've got no life left in my body .
I know the feeling about over doing things I always suffer the following days after.
It's lovely that you have seen your family but it's takes toll on your body .
It's lovely to hear from you take care of your self.
Have any of you any family history of migraines, or had one yourself , even one years ago. I ask because vestibular migraines or VM are often the cause of dizziness, vertigo, fatigue, brain fog, balance issues, tinnitus, disequilibrium, nausea, sensitivity to lights, sounds, smells, patterns. Its also known as MAV, migraine associated vertigo.
VM used to be known as silent migraine because instead of getting the head pain sufferers get all these weird vestibular issues instead. Until recently it was considered rare but its likely its underdiagnosed. It shares a heck of a lot of symptoms with PPPD, in fact research has shown many PPPD sufferers score highly on the migraine spectrum.
VM is treated with anti migraine medication, lifestyle changes, vestibular rehabilitation and if necessary CBT.
