Vaccine side effects

I had my first dose of Oxford A_Z in my left arm yesterday and was reminded this morning that I randomly get FND symptoms - left arm, leg and very slightly in my jaw. I am on the look out for side effects but this was unexpected. Anyone else moving cautiously?

Hi FairyfeetX,Now that you've had the vaccine for a few days how are you feeling?

Hopefully you're doing well.

Thank you, very kind of you to ask. The fog has cleared! just left with a weak grasp and I wake in the night with my affected leg painfully cold. Having serious doubts about the second vacc!

Hi Fairyfeet,

Did you recover yet ?

I had my vaccine 9 days ago (Astra-Zeneca) and I’m on Ibrutinib. From Ibrutinib I had neurological side effects ( dizziness, tinnitus, tingling and tremors in my hands). Now I’m on the smallest possible dose. After vaccine I had muscle pain, lymph nodes pain, bad arm pain, swelling for mor than week. And last 3 days I have really bad tinnitus and headache. I’m going to inform my doctor as I think it’s too long for side effects to last after vaccine.

I hope you will be better soon :)

Keep us informed.

Xxx Temida

Hi Timeda, that sounds too long to be enduring side-effects. I get pulsatile tinnitus but that didn't increase, hand tremors from inhalers for asthma and balance 'wobbles' - no difference.

I didn't have any arm discomfort [couldn't even find the injection site] but had the worst head pain within 2 hours, which lasted about 2 hrs. About 7 hrs after the jab I was over-whelmed with an almighty sweat, had to terminate a phone call and strip! The FND has pretty much worn off and I'm more aware of my dead toes - GP sent me to a chiropodist! I will take the 2nd vaccine because I would actually like a face to face with a GP instead of being triaged

by an unqualified receptionist....

I hope your miserable symptoms soon fade> disappear. x
