A little while ago I read a post from a lady who has fnd. She had experimented with many alternative ideas on treating this condition. One that caught my eye was thc cbd oil. I use cbd oil and have found over time that it helps alleviate some symptoms. She went further and praised the thc cbd oil (medicinal use) for its noticeable benefits over cbd.
Has anyone here used thc cbd oil?
Thanks in advance

I have tried a few combinations. The first was a hemp CBD oil, which did nothing. Then I managed to get some medicinal cannabis which was high THC, which made me so sleepy and befuddled. I could barely function. So my Dr tried me on a 1:1 ratio THC/CBD. That also made me worse. So I’ve given up now. I was just too sensitive, but you may have more luck than me. I understand there are so many differences in each oil out there. It seems you need a lot of experimentation. Good luck!
Thanks for replying, I have tried good quality cbd oil and found it helped a little, so have just sent off for some TUC cbd oil, to see if that's better. After reading your comments I got my doubts, and like you said, it's all very expensive. After that its hypnosis and reflexology. If non of that works it's just small steps forward and try to stay positive. Not forgetting to retrain your brain.....however that is done! Cheers for now
I have tried CBD oil with terpenes and it's a fantastic pain reliever. My headaches are lessened and relieved my anxiety. I got it from this online shop, wholefamilyproducts.com/sho....
Hey, I know this is a post from a couple months ago but I want to share the beginning feelings I have towards cbd oil.
I started taking it after many people suggested it. I have an oil tincture that goes under my tongue. It is 0% thc so it’s the pure full spectrum cbd oil (only thing added is an orange flavor so it is palatable). I was told that it can help for 6-8 hours if taken on regular basis and a bottle should last a month. I go through them in two weeks or so because I take it round the clock and in flare ups as well.
I can see and feel a major difference when I don’t take it. It does not remove symptoms however it lessens some. The pain I get in my face and jaw, my headaches and my tremors all slow to a manageable level. I can go from almost not being able to speak to having slow conversations.
I ran out of it and within a day I was back to what my husband calls “unacceptable” levels of pain.
I’m planning to get higher concentrated oil to try and see if it lasts longer or helps with anything else.
The medicinal licenses here are given out for very few conditions so I doubt I’ll have access to cbd with thc in it where I live.
I do believe it helps but it is not a cure all. And everyone’s body responds differently to different things. So while it makes things tolerable for me, it may not help someone else at all.
The post is still active. I'm struggling with many symptoms of fnd and am taking cbd oil. It's called Blessed aand it's 500mg strength in a 10ml bottle. It's also a top spectrum oil. I take it regularly and like you, it never lasts 4 weeks. It's helped me a little, but need a booster. Going to try cbd oil with thc combined. Trying to source it in Germany as they will rarely prescribe it here for fnd.
Also as fnd have some characteristics of ms I've read some posts where people have benefited from low dose naltrexone. Dr will not prescribe but i can pay for an online/phone consultation. They will then forward the prescription to a chemist in Scotland, who will send it on to you.
I'll probably find myself going around in circles, back to hypnotherapy,, cbt, which I don't get on with etc. Sorry I have gone on, good luck with the higher strength oil,
Can I ask where you are from, as you might get better access to other options.
The oil I have is 750mg and I’m hoping to try a 1500mg soon.
I live in the U.S. in Texas. I have contemplated bringing it to my primary care doctors attention because we do have medicinal licenses here, however I believe it’s a very low amount of thc even in medicinally approved products.
I have heard that the cbd with thc can be more effective for nerve pain as the thc is what crosses the blood brain barrier so it can actually target more to provide more/different relief.
