CBD use for FND symptoms

Hello all. I’ve recently started using CBD to help with my FND on bad days. This morning I woke up with eye pressure, tremors and I lost my ability to speak. After breakfast I took a 25mg capsule of CBD because I didn’t want to have another day with FND. About a half hour later I was feeling much better. Is it just me or a placebo effect? Or is really helping? After giving up on prescribed medication it would be hopeful to find something to help with day to day FND crap. I would love to hear other thoughts and opinions on this. Thanks💕

Medical cannabis most definitely works for FND, especially if you look for whole plant full spectrum Cannabinoids and terpenes.

This works by neurological homeostatic modulation of our signalling pathways to be balanced and functional.

I wish I could get medical cannabis but the state of Georgia doesn’t support it. I am going to as my PC about it soon. Thank you for your reply🌸

I’ve not had much success with CBD, personally, but I can say that Delta 8, 9 and 10 THC have all had positive affects. It has been a lifesaver in terms of helping with tremors, anxiety, insomnia, pain, etc. Getting my medical marijuana card here in Ohio was fast and simple although it’s still an expensive solution for now.

I'm in the UK, my husband is waiting to see another neurological Consultant for a diagnosis of his ongoing issues. I'm wondering whether B12 injections may help in any way, especially with cognitive issues. There seems to be some similarities with Pernicious anaemia, brain fog, forgetfulness etc

Look into full spectrum delta 9 gummies derived from hemp. These are legal under the farm Bill and ship legally (for now) through the mail. Look for a trusted brand, perhaps 3chi and others. They help me a little with pain, brain fog. Not as potent as medical grade (I’m a card carrying member) but that can be a good thing as you may see benefits without getting “high”. Delta 8 and 10 have helped me as well and also seem a little less potent than medical grade THC 9. I rotate through them to help avoid losing effectiveness. I’ve tried close to a dozen anti depressants, propranolol, tizanidine and a host of other drugs and quit due to either side effects or in effectiveness. Marijuana/hemp products have literally been a lifesaver for me. Not a miracle cure, but as close as I’ve found. Hope it can help you too!

Thank you so much for your advise. I started on Delta 8 vapes and gummies. Delta 9 was a bit too strong for me. I can feel and see a difference in my body when I use it and I love it! I will rotate my supply( I bought several options ) and hopefully, this is my answer to feeling like me again😊

hi i have self medicated with thc since puberty, im now 58 years. i always referred to it as my medicine and make my own oil. it helps to normalise everything and i havent had a seizure in over 10 years! my medicos still persist my symptoms are epilepsy and i have always refused anti epileptic meds. i avoid triggers, especially emotional stress and this has morphed into self isolation and living alone is easier to manage my fnd on a daily basis. my gps eyes still glaze over when i ask to get correctly diagnosed, so i have some big expenses coming up with a nuero psychologist pppfffttt. i also havent worked in over 10 years and every day wish that my world wasnt 'hobbled' by this condition and its symptoms. ive only just discovered this website today. anyway, there is some medical research info online re cbd, thc and benefits for fnd. good luck with your journey
