I just started taking Mycophenolate 500mg twice a day very scare to start taking it because all the side effect. I want to know should u wear a mask when u are out in the public? how long do it take to get in your system? Thank You....

These are medical questions. So I suggest that you ask your GP who prescribed it for you. If your GP hasn't prescribed it then are you sure, given it has side effects and you say it 'scares' yòu, that it is worth it?

For me, this started Novemeber 2009, after exposure to a neuro-toxin bug spray. I avoid chemicals as much as I can now and even in the past, as I am sensitive. WIth the exposure, I became violently ill, projectile vomiting and the same on the other end, with a crown-centered headache. It felt like my head was going to explode. This lasted overnight. The next day I was very fatigued and my eyes were sensitive and I felt 'off kilter." Next, double vision, prism lenses prescribed, my eye doc said looked like I had a stroke, from examining my eyes. Then coordination problems, fatigue , weakness, then bladder issues and so on with more symptoms as time went on...periods where I was unable to walk, speech clearly, swallowing, breathing, voice changes and more.

This has been awful with my persisting in seeking a diagnosis.

I haven't heard about Mycophenolate. Will google and also speak to my PCP about trying this. I do have many sensitivities/adverse reactions, to drugs., which makes using conventional treatments difficult for me. Until this started I used holistic therapies, as I didn't have any serious health issues.
