Anybody in Greater Manchester with FMD?

Hi there!

I was diagnosed with FMD three years ago after collapsing in Birmingham.

It's a very lonely and isolating condition.

Even though I have a supporting Husband

and have corresponded with some lovely people on this site, I get extremely low

with my moods because it effects the very simple things I now do.

Brushing my hair becomes a chore!

I live in Baguley, Manchester and was wandering if anybody lives near here with

this condition or in Manchester.

Everyday is a battle with this.

It's a nightmare you want to

wake up from.

Best Wishes!

Kim xx

Hi Tracy!

It's called Functional Movement Disorder which I think is the same as yours.

It's a misfiring of the brain signals which makes my body

go into spasms.

It's very limiting.

Am I correct in saying that yours is a Functional Neurological Disorder which is pretty much same as mine but a different

name?

What's your symptoms Tracy?
