new to the community was told I had terminal stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer 4 and a half years ago doing fine so far am married and have 3 adult children and 8 going on 10 grandchildren

Nice to hear from you,so pleased for you that you are still doing ok,I'm just starting the journey-stage 3 invasive,but wondering if it will turn metastatic at any moment,I start chemotherapy very shortly.I hope you continue to stay well and many good wishes to you and your family,you've certainly given me hope for the future,thank you xx

Did you have bladder and lymph nodes removedo? ?

yes had bladder, lymphnodes, prostate, and part of urethra removed

have had major surgery and chemotherapy all went better than I expected

all the best for your new grandsons that will bring you joy and keep you going my husband had bladder prostate l nodes removed in 2014 he was offered b c g or bladder rem or live 10 months he went for all removing just gone 70 and our grandkids keeps him going

Ny partner has stage 4 bladder cancer. At the momrnt it hasnt spread got 2 sessions of chemo left. You have given me the hope i needed hearing ur story makes me realise that evem if yhey cant cure they csn keep u well for a long time. Thsnkyou and good luck

Could i ask if you are having any treatment we ve just been told my partner has metastatic bladder cancer and told no more they can do and that he only has months left. We hsve asked for axsecond opinion at a hospital thats doing drug trials. Really would like to be able to find away to prolong my partners life. I just hope he has the will to live that you obviously have. Goid luck for many msny more yrs
