I had bladder cancer 2 yrs ago luckily they removed all of the tumour. The thing is i had no symptoms it was while I was being scanned for Gaul stones they decided to check my ovaries and found it that way. So if i hadn't  had pain in my upper right side i may not have found it.

Ditto. No symptoms of a 1cm bladder tumour. Ta Grade 2. Radiologist spotted it during an xray I had for severe sciatic pain.

8 months clear now with 3 monthly bladder check cytoscopies. Living in fesr but living in hope it doesn't return. Just have to try to think positive.

Hi just found out my Hubby has Aggressive, but treatable bladder cancer! Was being treat for BPH for over 2 years along with my son! Loss of weight 42 pounds in less than a year, sleeping all the time! They put it off on his moderate Alzheimer's! Finally the checked bladder and in 1st stage and I took him To Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC and they've moved very fast! Within a week of his appointment hhis bladder and prostrate were operated on! Didn't expect the surgery for prostrate all at once! He'll start chemotherapy in 10 days given thru catheter straight to bladder! He will have 6 treatments and hopefully be cured! Barring anything from the prostrate! They biopsied that and I'll know hopefully by this Wednesday! I'm not a member of this site, but am on The APS site! Did I do correct thing! So sorry if I didn't! Is this too a British based site??? Thx

Thank You all for ur quick replies! Very sad to hear all this cuz my poor hubby has been in pain management for his bak for over two years! I guess the docs find by mistake cuz of our health care system in USA they put a bandaid on or give u a pill and send u to u no where!!! I found u thru my APS/Antiphospho Lipid Antibody disorder/ Hughes Syndrome, a very rare blood clotting disorder! I have also another rare sludgy blood disorder in the cancer family called PV/Polycythemia Vera! The first was discovered in Englan by a Dr Hughes in 1982! USA has no clue! Only NYC ! I was under the care of Hemotologist/Oncologist for 13 years! I lost my left leg and my Hemotologist/onco found I had the rare other blood disease! Finally it's not all in my head anymore!!! Lol... I'm so sorry for rambling! I'm just happy my husbands was found in time! I'm saddened to think of how many of us there are, butcher gladdened to have wonderful people like Y'all to speak to! There a light at the end of the tunnel for all of us!!! GODSPEED to Y'all!!! Thanks again!!!
