I found this interesting: "Hyperthermia in Combination with Emerging Targeted and Immunotherapies as a New Approach in Cancer Treatment".

mdpi.com/2072-6694/16/3/505

They also mention that it is effective with chemo and RT.

This is work being done by a company in Belgium that is a spinoff from the Antwerp University Hospital. Currently they are doing phase 1 studies for pancreatic and other solid tumours.

Link for solid tumours at the bottom right.

Disclosure: the lead author is the niece of a good friend πŸ˜‰.

p.s. I don't think hot-flashes count as "hyperthermia" 😎

wishing you luck and good health - there are so many new and old treatments and not one size fits all. My husband fought for 10 years with the last two the very worst. I was (we were) the forever the optimist but one day it just came up and consumed his body. The chemo did not work. Had 4 out of 5 treatments and had to stop. The new PMSA treatment gave us another round of renewed optimism but with only 2 treatments his body could not tolerate any additional treatment. Lost his battle 7 weeks after the 2nd treatment.
