Hi welcome back sorry you have had to join us after all but you know we are more than willing to help....
If you go to fibroaction.org
There is lots of info there plus you know you can always ask anything as there is always someone about to answer. Jilly gives some good advice... Pace whenever you can ... When you get a good day don't do everything that hasn't got done before as you will regret it and hopefully get the support of family friends and your GP.
Look forward to chatting to you again

Hi there, sorry to hear you`ve been diagnosed. My fibro was confirmed last month, and, on the plus side, it was a relief to find out that i hadn`t been making it up and i was justified in feeling rough. My first few weeks were not easy, i didn`t know my a.....se from my elbow, but, eventually i`ve settled and i`m trying to manage it, there`s lots of support from the good folk here. and i do hope your GP is understanding.. I think it takes a while to find out how fibro affects you because everyone is slightly different, and i expect at the moment you feel really upside down!
Good luck and keep in touch xx
Hi Miss jones welcome to a band of merry fibromites (sorry you had to join us ) As you know this sight is open - useful- tender- reliable easy to use unlike fibro which takes us down paths we never expected to try, it is challenging it hurts but we have to accept and work withm it. I find a sence of humour is essential to battle it and also my friend on line who have the same pain and really undersatand. Do not feel afraid to let your feelings show here xgins
thank you for the nice welcome. x
