Oh Sithy, I'm so pleased you have had a laugh, I find a giggle here and there helps. Oh how I understand about your swimming pool, mine has ultra heating cos it's memory foam, so I have to weigh up the benefits of comfort and that of swimming 200metres each night, especially in the summer. I had a hysterectomy years ago and went through all the menopause rubbish then, so I thought it would all be done and dusted but hey no, am at "that age " and now I'm getting second helpings.......oh joy be unconfined ..... I find a fan on my bedside table a useful implement.

Sending gentle cool hugs. Foggy x

Hi Foggy I had hysterectomy 10 years ago but they left my egg sacks don't know how to spell ovy watsits I to have memory foam comfy yet warm, I was talking to my lovely mother Inlaw once about the dreaded M I asked how long I could expect it to last as I have suspected I had it a while ago , she told me she still gets sweats and she's nearly 80 ahhhhhhg no ta, well I'm off to find my fan my grandson doesn't like it and when he was over for the weekend his auntie teased him with it so he hid it from her he's only 20 months old so god only knows wher he put it . Love and gentle hugs Sithy

Hehe ovaries........ I really understand, I am in search of an old fashioned fan to keep in my handbag as I seem never to have something with which to make myself more comfy when out. I also find if I'm stressed it starts as well and I think there is a separate post about that.

Aww your poor little man, it goes to show, children can get scared of something when they get teased .....I've never had children but I know the damaged that can be done to dogs when they are teased by their owners, a case in point being the hoover, it's funny to the owners and leaves the dogs a gibbering wreck. Keeping your fan out of the way when your grandson comes round so that it doesn't scare him again may be a good thing.....aww bless the little man.

Gentle hugs. Foggy x

I have a large electric fan on my bedside table, but like you had a battery one, which kept running out - now I know why !!!

Hehe Foggy x

On a serious note here... Yes I can do it for short bursts at a time it seems many of us on here have had hysterectomies at an early age.... How weird.....
