Protests happening against the bedroom tax this month

Some one told me yesterday that a small room classed once as a box room will not be counted if it is 7ft ish aprox 63 square feet, not sure where they got the info but think it was in a newspaper!

well i hope so, my spare room is not even that big had my letter from council the other day want 14 pounds off me that i havent got told me to move or get a lodger thats a joke!

I have read if it is under 70 square feet then it is classed as a box room and not a bed room, not sure how legitimate that is though.

hi when i first heard this .."bedroom tax" i thought it ment you had to pay tax on the amount of action that went on in your bedroom!!! lol....i would be ok as im a born again virgin!! xxx

Very funny all off you ha! ha! ha! this made me smile We all need to keep our sence of humour eh! Anyway yes Ive herd this is true ? if the box room is small I cant remember the size , but its true they cannot tax you ,Its something to do with an houseing act that was taken out in 1983 and its agaist the law for them to do so . Im sure someone else has heard this. I think the council should be able to help with this . Val
