I got told a couple of weeks ago by rheumy that my bones have a lot more wear and tear than someone my age. Thought no shit Sherlock, thats why I walk like an old bid, even though only just turned 42. I have to keep telling my mum who is 68, to slow down as she tears ahead and get jealous that she can do charity 5 to 10 mile walks we used to do together. Wish I could do 50 metres without pain.
Mind you, still got my mouth that I can talk for hours, which does come handy in my job.
Don't know where your questionnaire was from but be fun for tick box. Getting used to them with potential Hughes syndrome or lupus.

My god theres so many syndromes, im sure this much pain is more than fibro!!!, My mum has fibro and manages 3 to 4 holidays a year... Darts on a tues, her mates on a thursday, and she cooks faimily dinner every sunday for at least 6, usually my brothers and girlfriends !!! We dont get invited lol, we clash alot of the time. I dont do any of that, im 44 she's 63... Id be lucky to manage a night out for a meal, i cant sit for long periods of time, im in agony walking longer than 5, 10 mins. Ive had 2 good days in 6 weeks!!!
Gosh. Wish there is hope for us yet. It's weird, my mum had lots of back, neck and hip issues when she was in her late 30s and 40s and now like your mum, she does something everyday. Goes shopping, takes me to lidl as only shop I can just about manage on a good day. Helps 2 lunch clubs, committee member for bowel cancer charity and also darts.
I am the baby of the family and so lucky. She lives round the corner, can walk there on a good day. She does so much for me and Daisy, she is my star and am so grateful to her. If either of us phone she is round like a shot.
I don't think have had any good days in a month at the mo but I will and you will too.

I think it's on the arthritis uk site. I did that questionnaire too! It's a bit vague though cos I also came up with hypermobility syndrome, cmt, RA, lupus .... Unfortunately so many seem to have such similar symptoms. Guess that's why it can take so long to get a diagnosis.
This is the problem with fibro we have good days bad days and some people seem to be less affected by it. I have had it 23 years but for 7 of those I was Definately in a remission for want of a better word. Just the occasionl bad day or two and I did think maybe its gone... Haha yeah now I know better but I think that's why we have so much trouble with diagnosis and help and its not fair .......that's why this is a great place to come and rant because we all know how bad it can be
