i have been trying to work as a kitchen helper but i have had more time off then i have been there keep haveing flair up i am sind off again as its all in my back shoulders i think i am going to have to give it up and try again to get my benfits i am so down as well cant seem to pick my self up this time what do you all think ?

I think you should follow your heart and health, I had to give up work , yes it was financially a shock, but the stress relief made my fibro and sleeping a lot better.... And like you I had more days off than at work... In the end only you can decide but we only have one life.. Make the most of it in a way that is best for you

I still work full time. Some days I don't know how tho. Fortunately my boss is relatively understanding - especially with all my Hosp appts. Financially I really can't give up work but also I enjoy my job. I'm a secretary to the managing partner in a law firm. I've been through a pain management course that has given me useful "tools" to use when the pain is worse. Doesn't always work but I just do the best I can.
