lump alongside middle of spine !

i have felt a sore lump about halfway up my spine im quite worried about this i do have spondolitis lumber and cervical and ive been getting really bad pain in my spine has anyone else had something like this,its not right on my spine but more to the side about the size of a grape, thanks for any answers xx

I have had back problems buy it sounds like you need to get checked out as soon as you can. It could just be something harmless like a cyst or an infection.

If you can't get to your docs try NHS direct and ask them what they suggest.

just to let you know dr said it is the muscle around middle of spine that has gone into spasm she said it was rock hard and looked a bit concerned as i used to get thatin other parts of my back,she didnt say anything else about it though ?so i will just wait and see if it gets any bigger or does not subside it stings quite alot if need be ile see another dr .x
