Just to say that I wish all of you a very happy Christmas with as little pain as possible, so that you can all enjoy yourselves as much as possible.
I also wish you all a very happy, and healthier New Year with all the good things that you would all wish for yourselves. Most importantly, I hope that we can all have a hassle free New Year with regard to all the form filling and assessments and appeals which some of us may be having to go through in the coming months. For those of you already in the system and playing a waiting game, I hope and pray that you are all successful.
I particularly want to thank those kind people who have taken the time to respond to my blogs. It has meant a lot to me as, although I have a wonderful husband who is my rock, I have found over the years that FMS can be a very isolating illness. Recently discovering this support group has made me feel that I have formed some new friendships, albeit in word only and not face to face. Although we do not really know each other, the most important thing is that we do all understand. It has also been fun to share jokes and the lighter side of life. Some of you have certainly made me chuckle over the past few weeks.
Take great care of yourselves.
Love to you all and very gentle hugs.

hi Saskia , i too hope that things improve for you over the coming months , i can't believe we are coming to the end of another year time goes so fast .
The people on this site are so helpful and understanding, its so comforting knowing that we won't be judged on here and accepted.
My hubby is also very understanding but he hates seeing me in pain and worries so much its often better to say nothing and its the same with my Mum who even tho i am 57 still tells me off for overdoing it etc.
What plans do you have for xmas ? i am going to my sons on xmas day for the 1st time , it will be lovely spending time with his partnerand their son.
on boxing day i am having them here and my daughter, son in law and 3 Grandgirls so thats 10 of us for dinner, who me overdo it ? as if lol
please take care , warm hugs xx
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and all the best for a Happy New Year Saskia, it's great to have you here with us.
A verry Happy Christmas & brighter 2013 for us all.
Enjoy your day.
I too will be off to stay at mt Mums & brothers for the next couple of days but will pop in when I get a chance. To be honest I am looking forward more to Boxing Day. I always seem to enjoy my dinner better then. I think is because all the pressure is off Mum & Dad & its much more relaxed.
Its a big sporting day on tv so my Dad & Bro will be glued to that. I will retreat tk my room & read & no doubt Mum will be at her computer playing games. My son goes to his Dads evefy Boxing Day.
I hope you have fun & enjoy the holidays as pain free as possible.
my wish for Christmas would be that Cameron, Atossers and iain duncan smith get fibro bad for 1 week to see n feel how we all do that would be the best present ever. so if we all wished hard enough it may come true sounds bad but they deserve it we dont .merry xmas all xx
