Hi, I have had fibro 10yrs, I don't know if connected to fibro but around the same time my hands and feet got really cold even on a hot summers day the doc said I had raynauds and gave me 10mg nifedipine, they helped, but I had to decrease to one a day as they were giving me flushes, which is one of the side effects, make an appt with you doctor, take care x

I think they are linked in some way. If a chemical imbalance in the brain can cause pain to feel worse than it is, then I am sure it can make you feel colder than you are. Yes your feet may be cold, but the brain may see it them being even colder, you touch your feet and the signal goes skewiff and is exaggerated by the brain. Not sure if anyone will understand what I am trying to say but I know what I mean, I bet LibertyZ knows what I mean too lol. But I have Raynauds and have done for as long as I have had fibro. But I also have no working pulses in my feet so the circulation is very very poor. So as Raynauds is painful, the brain reads it as worse. I am running around in circles lol, if anyone understand what I am saying please drop by and explin it to me, in English!!!!! xxxxxx
