If this sort of research leads to a greater understanding of these conditions and better treatment it will be a good thing.

I'm pretty sure I've never been bit by a tick myself - I remember removing one from my old dog's tummy once and think I'd remember the same thing on myself.

My CFS became noticable after having Strokes and mini-strokes - so I agree with the trauma trigger idea. The fibro has just crept on over this last year, wish it would creep off again!
