Hmm, need more details.
I was told my toe pain was gout. I did find if I ate acidic foods it would kill. However I have now been told its osteoarthritis.
You need to get this pain checked out whether its FM or something else, but also wondering what footwear you had on. As its in one foot, you may find you have extra wear on one shoe than the other causing leaning, which may not be noticed until you stand for a long time.
Hope it clears up. In the meantime take some kind of pain killer such as paracetamol. I'm on codydramol for break through pain, so if you have some of that it may help.
Otherwise I suggest you don't stand for hours! Sorry.
Soft hugs
Hello Eric, it's not at all uncommon to have pain in your fingers and toes with Fibromyalgia. However just to make sure it's not anything else like Arthritis etc., it would be advisable to speak to your GP who may arrange XRays just to verify.
Sarah-Jane makes some very good points in her message, make sure your footwear is comfortable and suitable and that you don't stand for long periods. Also putting your feet up when you are resting helps any foot and leg pains.
I hope you get on well at the Doctors.
Hi Eric
I have the pain in toes and fingers that I would describe the same as yours. Like been hit with a hammer. I get it in various fingernails or toenails, sometimes the skin goes red around them. can last hours and go just as quick.
Have no idea what it is as have been told gout and arthritis!
