biting! :(

does anyone wake up in the night not only with a jolt but biting into there bottom lip???? ive been just recently doing this its hurting so much now and sore! i have no stress going on either ouch!

Hi not my lip my tongue it is strange i have never done this before !!!!! and aboy 8 weeks ago i woke up and my little finger was in my outh and i was biting on y little finger it really hurt why is it we do that ???????? love diddle x

I did this 3 mornings in a row last week never happened before not sure why its started now xx

hi.i have done this for years and only really noticed it when diagnosed with sleep aponea i had to use machine and wear a mask when asleep, when i woke realised i had been biting my mask or my lip,when i mentioned this to my s-a clinic they had not heard of other people doing it,so i have put it down to my fibro,lots of hugs xx

yep often but usually its my tounge i bite its soo painful .soft hugs xx

yep me too, i'm always biteing my tounge and my gums, sleeping and awake, also grinding my teeth for years in my sleep, but even when i'm talking or eating i bite my gums/tounge this has been going on for a few years now, i've had fibro for at least 16/17yrs now ........ just soooo very sore all the time
