What to expect?

Ive got my first appointment with my rheummy in a couple of hours and im nervous as i dont know what to expect.Do i need to prepare in any way? Please can you tell me your experiences for your first appointments......Gentle hugs x

Hi At my first appt i was really scared and nervous didn't need to be as the dr asked questions and examined me. Sent for blood tests and bone scan. Followed by second appt. Good luck and hugs sent to you xx

hi hunny my appointment was fab

i was given a name and dr chow was fab he talked to me not at me

so don't worry just tell them everythink and you will be fine

when i came out i felt soooo much better i had the name and a way to help with the pain it dont work as much now but at least i know what it is

my consultant examined me asked some questions told me what was wrong which is a releif cause at least to have a name he sent me for bloods and i have to go back soon goodluck xx

Thanks guys.....he was fab! He examined me and really listened, i was in there for an hour and he said it was 100% fibro and he has made appointments for physio for my knees, taken bloods, discussed meds and a referral to the pain clinic.....what a lovely bloke!
