Back from hydro today after several weeks break due to hospital and Easter. Didnt manage any exercises at all today, just spent half hour having a float. Heaven

Hi Julieru, I had hydrotherapy a few years ago, it was fantastic. Painful the day after but when I left the pool I felt great, temporarily invigorated.....the only problem is that you're limited to the number of sessions you can have on the NHS.

I was also wondering today, after reading someones post on epsom salts, what has happened to the floatation tanks that were dotted about during the '80's? That would be perfect for us fibro-peeps. Hope you're still floating!

I go to the local rehab home privately. they rent the pool out for £5 for half hour which is lovely. Might be worth others trying their local rehabilitation homes much cheaper than the gym
