all i got told was keep taking your tablets and rest.....i came away from the doctors more in pain than before he started pulling me about....and come back next week if i feel the same....

thats the trouble with this illness you have to keep going back and forwards to docs ,maybe go back and see another doc ,who maybe more sympathetic

hi i agree i would try o see a different doctor and see what they say i had a doctor like that and tried to tell me i had celiac disesase and i went in there to get repeat prescription came home called the surgery got appointment next day with my gp told here she reinstated my meds that the other doctor took it upon herself to change and that was that never seen her again since love diddle x

It is sooo important to have a good GP, mine is brilliant. Although we have about 6 GP's in our practise I am very selective about who I see. I wouldn't hesitate to change doctors if ever this sitution changed tho. Hope you sort things out Bean, love Angela x

Where I live now in a large village there is just one practice with 8 docs with two of them just out of med school.It is always difficult to see the same one. Twice when I have been and seen different docs I have walked out at being told that I was just depressed- so annoying. . There isn't any need to put up with docs like that . Now the surgery is on line and i can book an appointment with the one doc I want to.see. It sometimes means waiting a week or even 10days but there is nothing else I can do and when all is said and done even that doc can really only offer some words of sympathy and not a lot of help
