I have a v shaped pillow which fits round my neck and under my shoulders. This means I can put it under my shoulders or over my shoulders so I am comfy part of the night on my back part of the night on one side and part of the night on the other side.

you can also roll a towel up to put under your neck[tip from physio]

i was told to roll a towel up and put it inside pillow case so towel runs across bottom and pillow at top, so when u lay on pillow, towel supports neck and pillow (feather) supports head x

I use a feather pillow and my hubby doesn't. Would that work for you perhaps - or would your pillow still set his allergies off?

I hadn't thought about feather pillows until I inherited some from my late auntie. I haven't looked back since.

I had a lot of problems with my pillow and getting comfortable, I know have a goose feather and down pillow and its heaven, I am so much more comfortable, I can mold it around my head and neck and I am sleeping better since i bought it

I use a feather pillow on the bottom and a memory foam on the top as I like to be quite high up and I find this works for me. I tried the rolled up towel but found it moved around and slipped in the night so didn't really do anything for me. I do think it is a matter of personal preference though as some people like a hard pillow and some a soft. Angela xx
