The IM and the trapezoid muscle is familiar to me so I may have read something relating to this previously. Thanks for sharing your PDF. I do not see enough detail on the cohort to be able to assess the summary you have shared.

Also while CSS / Amplification are not perfect they are the best theory we have at present. You also mention the lack of scans or empirical tests but there is the work by Woods, Holman and Clauw that used imaging in the early 2000s that gave us pictures of the pain response in our community. To dismiss CSS just like in the work of Goebbels / Andersson with autoantibodies, SFN or any other challenger hypothesis we need more, we need it replicated and we need it to make a difference.

had 80-90 one hour sessions in a chamber at 2 atmospheres breathing oxygen and it cured my morning brain fog and fatigue, and reduced my pain levels by about 60%, since then I have had one session a week for 10 odd years. at 76 am getting ready to have another concentrated run for a couple of months to see if I can do more for the pain aspects.

That is very interesting. I really hope they do further research on this as it could be positive for people. Thank you for sharing.

Read this wonderful article this evening with frequent dives into google to understand some of the clinical definitions. There is so much to it and it is well enough explained for me to understand even if brainfog will be trying to intervene. I welcome the explanation as to why so many with this may be "Looking well!"

Many thanks for this research. I hope it will get massive support from those genuine sources who want to promote this up to date knowledge and aid the development of a newer understanding of how to promote the recovery of sufferers.

I'm left wondering if the short course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy I went to over a short period of time about six or seven years ago helped me more than I realised. I think I have been luckier than so many people on this site who live through the horror of this condition second by second. I hope there will be more about this research that can find it's way here. Thanks again.
