fibromyalgia MR refused 😡

Got my MR been refused ,so just filled out to take it to tribunal. I really don’t understand how they can justify how people are not awarded this help . My letter was dated the 4th March but only received it this morning 🙈.. so I filled in the tribunal on line . Since being refused I went to see a rheumatologist who is referring me to a pain clinic and well being /physio . But I do not have them notes yet at the doctors as the consultant has not referred them over yet . So I am going to ring his secretary just incase they require evidence. I am at my whits end as I am trying to hold a job down and daily in pain /fatigue.

Taking it to Tribunal is the right thing to do and will ensure your claim gets properly considered. Statistically around 70% of PIP claims which are taken to tribunal stage will end up with an award or an increased award. You may even be contacted by DWP before the hearing to offer you something thus lapsing the appeal. Meanwhile, make sure you have obtained a copy of the assessment done by the health professional. You can then go through this and point out any inaccuracies and submit this to the tribunal plus there is usually a lengthy wait for the hearing so you’ll have plenty of time to gather more evidence to support your case.
