fibromyalgia and other conditions

hi I’m just wondering if anybody else has fibromyalgia and has been diagnosed with Chiari malformation type 1 also.

I also have bulging discs in my back with extreme pain.

feel like I’m falling apart most days 😔

Hi…I have this at the top of my spine and my brain has dropped and pressing on my spine so a lot of neck pain and headaches 😞 I sympathise with you 😞 have they told you what your options are if the pain is too much?? X

No 😔 I was referred to a neurologist but that was for my lower back pain with leg pain . Currently waiting to have any electrical test on my nerves in my legs at the hospital . It seems the doctors in this country are not really familiar with Chiari malformation type 1.

My main symptoms are balance issues headaches x

Hopefully once all tests are done you will have more answers, have you discussed the Chiari with your GP? Mine has no idea about it but is looking in to it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m sure we shouldn’t have to fight this hard for answers 😞 I really do wish you all the luck with getting some answers TC x
