Hi. Is it just me or does anyone else bruise with the slightest knock or just scratching? I've always bruised easily, however, the bruising and aches are not going away! My body looks awful and I am now being questioned I'd everything is OK at home!

Hi, yes I have the same problem. I have always bruised quite easily but now I'm covered in bruises and half the time I don't even know what I did to get them. If I bump into anything I always think, that's another bruise!Several people asked me what I'd done last week as I'd got bruises all the way up my arm. I wasn't aware of some of them.

Doctors don't seem interested, so I just put up with it.

Good luck 🤞 it would be interesting to find out why we get this problem. 🤗

Hi ... try google... there's lots of reasons why that happens. I'm the same, the slightest bump and I bruise, but I'm quite thin and don't have much fat on me.

I am the same, wake up each morning and count the new bruises. , then count them again and see how many more I have.

Morning, I am always blue and purple on my legs, even when I'm spending my time in bed. Traced my movements and found out that the reason is the end of the bed.

My kids are scared to hug me properly- grown-up boys, I used to love their hugs - bear hugs we called them, but now - there are bruises afterwards even with gentle hugs...

Really miss them...

I haven’t got FM but do use steroid inhalers for asthma & COPD. I bruise like a peach and I have been told it’s down to the steroid element of the inhalers. May help someone x

Hi I'm the same, I put it down to thin skin... not much fat... I'd be inclined to response to anyone who comments... I'd probably say... you think this is bad... you should see the other guy!

Have you mentioned this to your GP for a piece of mind ? Maybe worth getting checked out, I do get bruises sometimes and think how did I do that , but differently worth following this up, take care xx

Thanks everyone for your replies. Had do many blood tests which show no cause for it to happen. Some of mine I've had for over a year.
