Oh bother

Just when you think you have everything under control ?

Something else raises his ugly head and poops down your back!

Our Landlord calls to ask if housing benefit covers our rent, We had to pay another 100 on top,So he says okay I wont put the rent up,even though the company who is surposed to look after the property and collect rent etc,etc Says they have no choice ,they have rates that have also risen

Another 150 a month what the fudge???!!!! ( 450 up to 600 and now 700)

For a 2 bed terrace in the N/W of England?

When we moved in 2015, The estate agents said the house had been empty for a few years,

No carpet, 2 radiators in the whole place and never been decorated since he brought it,Ten years previously

So I had no flare in a few months and decided I could do this 😋.I called in a man who left a flyer, He was very good and said we could pay at end of each month. He did our back yard cut back bushes that had gone crazy and then said did we want him to do anything inside? Oh Thank you ,thank you ,thank you.

We had been a free reign by the landlord,He put central heating and loft insulation in. We put up kitchen cupboards up, carpet and lino I even helped the land lord with installing a new bathroom. Decorated and made this cold, empty, block of bricks into a warm welcoming and loving home.

We asked if we could change the kitchen, Of course he said yes. Luckily we only put 2 cupboards in the kitchen and did not change the floor ( more expense ) Well any savings we had were gone now. As soon as I'd Cleaned the brushes and looked around our new home 3 double decker buses ran me over then reversed and did it all again, 2 months I was off my feet!

I'd had flare ups in the past, But it got me in the hospital for 9 days, The lady from Pain clinic said I should stopped before??!!!!

Oh theres some good advice 😡

And here we are today, Waiting to hear from OT we asked for a grant to make the front door wider for the mobility scooter and a walk in shower ( I will probably miss a good soak in the bath) If we dont get the work? We will be moving. Another thing thats messing us up is my hubby reached Pension age and our housing benefit has gone, We were made (forced) to move to Universal Credit and then covid hit, So now the Landlord wants us to pay 750 a month. If we didnt receive

PIP , we'd be up in kaka street without an oar . We shouldnt have to pay another bill from another benifit Sorry long winded i'll go and shout and scream into my rage pillow now!!`

I would have a good scream into your pillow 🙁I know a lot of people I’ve spoken too lately are feeling the pinch and struggling and Covid has really had a knock on effect now, it is unfair to lose a benefit because of retirement I don’t know what we would do if my husband had not got his company pension as I cannot work now and differently think we would have had too move , this extended cold weather has not helped either has it 🙁nearly May and people having too still heat indoors. Xx

I think it's awful, My Hubby is in the middle of calling the retirement offices to find out how we can both move into a rented property, Hubby is 68 years young so no probs there, Unfortunately I am only 51, So if we both move in together I have another four years before I can become a tenant and would have to move out if Hubby had passed 😪.Another problem,I have a lot of anxiety and can only contact people via text or e-mail, Face to face is not an option, My main problem is having to take diazapan before leaving my home and the one that scares me most? I cannot go outside on my own not even in the garden.

Silly really not speaking on the phone is another😪
