28 pressure points from that you don’t have to have all say 11 is known kneck shoulders arms wrists back hips thighs legs feet . For some it can be mild but it varies skin sensitive when others touch you or hug you etc.

not sure if you are replying to another thread perhaps. The tender points are more of a legacy thing nowadays and not used in diagnostic criteria any more although some older doctors still use them as well as others for confirmatory / validation purposes I guess.

As I said it is not part of any current diagnostic criteria so is only used as an adjunct method and will eventually disappear.

yes that’s how I was diagnosed.I thought rheumatologist was crazy but he was correct as I just got worse
