Hi all, haven't been on here for quite a while.Does anyone know what other benefits you can claim on ESA Support Group as I am already finding it hard financially. I am still waiting to hear about my Tribunal Appeal for PIP which has taken so far 8 months. I don't seem to be getting the 650 crisis payment or any of the others. It makes me so angry to think that I genuinely cannot work,I now have Type 2 Diabetes and an issue with my liver. I really don't know where to go or what to do any help would be appreciated xx

Hi deb26bie
I have the same problem. I am on ESA, but I am in the support group, contribution ESA. I am not entitled to the £650 because I paid all my contributions and taxes to the government. I really dont see how that is fair. I will be getting the disability payment of £150 later in the year when it is available. I dont understand how this is fair, or am I in the wrong?
Hi Jaxie64,i am just unsure what i am exactly entitled to. I am behind on a few bills which stresses me so makes fybro worse than it already is. So am i entitled to free dental, glasses and prescriptions????...,To see other people that get everything handed to them on a plate when they dont need it.....we call them the Costa club as they are always sat outside Costa with bags of shopping. I am going through the Tribunal Appeal as i have been disallowed PIP twice. I am hoping i will be entitled to something as i had to get adaptions done in the house to help me on a day to day basis. I'm not building my hopes up but who knows what will happen 🙂
Thank you for all that,it has really helped me x
Hi Debbie - There are quite a few benefits you might be entitled to, but it will all depend on your household income. PIP is not tested against income, and the disabled council tax band reduction isn't, but most others are. My Fibromyalgia Support Group website lists all the benefits and concessions of which we are aware, so it is worth taking a look swanseabayfibro.wordpress.c...
