Shivering hand
I get occasional mild tremors and spasms which make me drop things - no apparent reason to it happening
Like any new symptom, it's worthwhile mentioning to your doctor in case it's not fibro related
Just been diagnosed with essential tremor by my GP. I drop things too. It’s worse when I get stressed by anything. Supermarket checkout is bad for me.
I had a similar effect - particularly when extended reaching. Topically, I found Stains mad it much worse and I lost all strength in a thumb. I learnt that stains have a negative effect on Coenzyme Q10 , powering muscles. A lack of it will cause myopathy (muscle weakness) and shakes.
Reducing Cholesterol reduces Ubiquinone which is the precursor to Uniquinol that gives muscle cells energy. As you get older, your ability to produce the precursor reduces and hence you become weaker. Topping it up can help. It has worked for me and I don't spill hot tea any more. I tired muscle also seems to ache a lot.
My self trials are still under way but three months ago I had no strength in my left hand but now I can undo Jam Jars and manipulate a coin. My legs were 25% strength and are now back to 75%. It is not proof yet but looking good.
If your problem is that you cannot convert the Ubiquinone then you can take the ready made Ubiquinol (four times the price but transformative if you are becoming chair-bound or immobile. If you buy CoQ10 it is very likely the Ubiquinone (precursor) form. The good news is that it can't harm you so well worth a try.
The biggest user of Ubiquinol is the Heart so palpitations and heart arrhythmia might also be aided. It is also likely to return a good sleep pattern and remove nodding tiredness if you suffer deficiency.
Hi, I would advise going to your GP, I had it for year's and put it down to my anxiety. I have agoraphobia, I eventually told my GP who sent me to a neurologist where it was diagnosed as essential tremor. That's not to say that's what wrong with you, there can be many reasons for the tremor, stress and activity can make it worse but it calms down againTake care xx
Yes, shaky trembly hands and feet too, as others say random spasms and the dropping of objects too seem to happen quite a bit.Just don't let me approach you carrying a cup of tea, you are liable to end up wearing it. Handy for scramble eggs though.
