The hardest part is stopping grieving for the life you had before. And then trying to live the best life you can, in spite of the challenges.

I wouldn’t say I accept my fibro...I think I’ll always push myself to do things that maybe I shouldn’t...but I’m also realistic about what it means.

Sometimes that reality is rubbish - let’s be honest! But there are things I’m doing now that I probably wouldn’t be doing without the fibro. Like using art as a form of mindfulness. Has been game-changing for me and I really enjoy it.

So true LoneEra, I did not realise that. Everything I've done has been about recovering the life (and the body) I lost. What a waste of time and effort!
