I'm new so go easy on me !

I have damaged nerves and painfull very painful. So I already take antripaline 30mg and 200mg of sertraline and I started on 25mg twice a day of pregabalin advised to go up until I get to 600mg .now I'm up to the highest amount and my head is werid I cant focus I cant get my speech right but the pain is gone for while .just wanted to know if any one else had this and is it just because I'm new to high dose and it will get better or is this how I'm going to feel on that dose..

Sounds like you may need a review of your meds? Amitriptyline taken with pregabalin can cause the symptoms you describe but you would need to discuss with you doctor and of course not suddenly stop taking them unless under medical supervision. Alcohol does not combine well. Hope you soon feel better but best to get checked out😊

Hi mrs666 I have damage nerves to I'm on 600mg of pregabalin a day to. I take co codamol to. I got given amitripaline but took myself off them. I was all dreamy and just didn't want to move. Speech bad to. . Body sore all over.Hope your feeling better xx

Thank u 4replying,I'm on 600mg to but I was told only paracetamol or ibuprofen is allowed! I will get in too see gp at some point.im glad I'm not alone out there.hope u feel better as well x

Hello, do you need an actual visit to obtain a consultation with your GP. My surgery has a call back system where the duty doctor or one of them call you back within 2 to 4 hours private number and talk about any worries, concerns you may be having regarding your health care. Myself I have used this method and on two occasions the GP has requested that I attend the surgery for an examination. I know all GP surgeries have different protocols I can’t fault mine or the pharmacy next door always helpful with advice in person or over the phone.

Yer my doctors you got to call at 8am for appointment by telephone then they decided if they need to see you.

My surgery has four options when you call option 4 allows you to talk to one of the assistants who will question you then arrange a call . Works every time for me

I’ve phoned late morning and early afternoon about 1430hrs doctor called 1515hrs explained my concerns and had an appointment for 1630 hrs had ECG and booked in the heart clinic for four her investigations to start 14 days later.

Hello, I would have talk with your doctor about a review of your medication, further ask your pharmacy for advice, are you taking the medication correctly, staggered, with food if you need to. Seek advice ASAP.

Started with ibs had a 3mth laps of it,I became very anemic which to this day I still have b12 injections. This had damaged my nerves and as a result I have no feelings in my feet or legs it was confirmed by electro test along with mri cat and a pet scan

Thank you for enlightening me. I was wondering if it was at a result of scarring as sometime Scarwork can get nerves working again after surgery. Good luck.

I've been told there no coming back from this as to badly damaged .but always gota look on bright side I guess
