Newbie to fibro would like some advice

Hi I'm a newbie, my name is frankie and have fibro , spondolosis and burtis for over a year, at first I was not to bad had good n bad days but recent couple of months I'm a mess depressed and pain is awful. Tbh sleeping has taken over my life !! Has anyone any tips or going through the same feel like I'm going round in circles ...be great to hear from someone 👍

Hiya hun sorry u have the f word its horrible and it does make us depressed living with chronic pain would make any one depressed so your not alone on that however alot of fibro sufferes take antidepressants not only for depression but for pain can i ask if your on any meds i take duloxotine and codiene xxxxxx welcome to forum theres lots of lovely people on here and we all help each other x

Hello there, welcome , I do find I have to sleep more hours than I’d like sometimes but then there are days that are differently much better, it may be your going through what we call a flare, stick with the rest and sleep and hopefully you will start to pick up again with pacing yourself. I did change my meds as I think after being on the same for years my body didn’t respond, I went from Citalopram now on Duloxtene, also used for fibro sufferers to help with pain. Perhaps book a telephone slot and have a chat with your doctor, xx
