I've had fibromyalgia most of my life but was finally diagnosed 18 years ago. So many tests over my lifetime so much pain , etc . Unfortunately, knowing what is is called doesn't help much. I have tried many things and shall keep on trying to rid myself of this monster. I have only found others with it and that is helping and seeing that I am 73 years old I can share a few tricks to help.
Now I have had this pain in my back right side for two weeks but hesitated calling the doctor due to the holidays but I shall now.

Hi rocket lady i always get right quadrant pain to it comes and goes liver gall bladder all normal had ultrasound do u get anxiety with fibromyalgia it cripples me x
Would you believe for all my life I didn't realize what anxiety was. Now I realize have had it and still do. I was a professional singer who travelled around America and Europe. I wore myself out. I was never a partier so had to get home after a gig as fast as I could so I could sleep before pain and exhaustion set in. No one knew I had pain and the music kept it at bay. I had to get off the road 15 years ago due to exhaustion so I started teaching. That also kept the pain at bay but Now, at 73, I am just too tired to keep it up. I have no energy and am in constant pain etc. You can't fight Fibromyalgia forever. However, I do know you have to keep your mind busy and not sit around because that just makes it worse. The depression now is getting me down (covid) but I've found this site and it helps me quite a bit. I started falling quite a bit three years ago. I just had an MRI and the doctor says I have small vessel disease. Were the falls from Fibro or the disease? Who knows but I shall carry on.

Recommend speaking to your gp about pain, as not all new pains are fibro related x
