I've no miracle answers but just wanted you to know you are not alone. I've been going through a fibro flare that's been mainly fatigue rather than pain

I slept for almost 3 days solid, and still exhausted today. Just trying to do tasks in small amounts with plenty of rest in between XXX

That’s how I feel the fatigue is over taking the pain at moment

Hopefully you’ll feel better soon hang on in there ,

I'd add keep yourself hydrated, Robinson's barley water in a sports bottle goes everywhere with me - not grapefruit though that kills your meds?Don't be hard on yourself for those days, if you need to sit after getting to the top of the stairs sit. Put on an audiobook rather than read, watch a Netflix series. You'll learn what triggers it the hard way and how to manage it.

It seems overwhelming but you aren't alone

What vitamins would you recommend?

Good for you... but ... I did 'em all for 3 months (B1 B2 B6 B12-injections, C, E all 8 types, plus Mg Zn Se K), only the best quality, all highly dosed, 300€, my bloods rocketed: no effect! So.. YMMV...

Hi, I’m also suffering with the same and all I can say is go with it. Pace yourself with things you need to do. Rest when you have to. Can I ask what is the extreme of your exhaustion? Sending big hugs 🤗

I would say my extreme is not realising av been in the same position for hours , can’t get out of bed can’t have a shower can barely brush my teeth , can hardly move as it’s too much of an effort, tired n a mean tired but can’t sleep 💤 amongst other things

This sounds so much like how I am just now - so I can really sympathise with you.

Prioritise - what tasks are really essential and what can be left till later. This also applies to basics ... If not going out the house - do you need to shower and get dressed. A wash at the sink and staying in pjs can help to save some energy

Consider each task and all yourself is it essential? If yes, then is there a different way of doing it to save energy

Same positions used to be an enormous problem for me, more than 10 minutes in any position, standing, lying, and esp. sitting. I felt if I don't move it won't hurt, and then it hurt all the more. I used 10 min. alarms, plus hourly gentle exercising (starting with something like 3x20'').

I’m different I can’t stop sleeping my worse day is I’m awake for only two hours in twenty four. I can sleep for the majority of the day and sleep through the night easily. Sending big hugs 🤗

Jackiejack: Is this more CFS than fibro? How do you react to short cold shocks? (Starting with cold water on wrists and underarms, going on to thighs?) TCM/Acupressure helps me with energy.

When I have days like that I try to just go with it and allow my body to be busy with healing rather than doing. I make sure to stay hydrated though as dehydration can make you feel worse as I've discovered in the past. If all you do is drink and go to the loo then that's what your body needs right now. Anything else is a bonus, don't fight it, relax, it will pass.

Me too! Rest is the only thing that seems to give me relief. However, as soon as I do anything physical it begins again. It is very frequent. I suffer pain too, which doesn't help, but if I had to choose between pain and fatigue I would rather suffer the pain.

First thing I did was to join an M.S. charity, and start using their hyperbaric chamber, (there are 60 odd around the country)breathing oxygen at twice normal atmospheric pressure, I did this for 80 odd sessions of an hour each, and the brain fog and extreme fatigue disappeared, then an hour a week after that. Also I take vit C, MitoQ and vit b3 for energy, in the morning, and magnesium glycinate, B complex, D3, K2 in the evening to help with relaxed sleep.
