Temperature control
Most days at some point.
Hi. I've been in extremes of being either ready to internally combust hot or, like you, frozen to the bone where it takes hours to warm up. Mentioned it to my go but it's not been taken further, I just love with it. I hope you can find a happy medium to keeping warm - it's not easy when fear of size of utility bills are a concern
Not to the same extent but i will sweat more if having a nice leisure walk than if im on the exercise bike. When i say sweat i come back from a walk soacked through so much so it's embarrassing.
Real impact on my life on the odd ocassion when i used to meet up with friends for a drink in the pub i would often have to be outside to cool down in the middle of winter as in short sweat would stream off me. Part of the reason i wont go anywhere these days as as makes me really self conscious.
Probably alot to do with the meds i am on unfortuantly.
Yes that's me too. Most days either too hot or freezing cold.
Hiya,,, l am very sensitive to heat and cold. 😵 When its warm or hot days,, l struggle so much with sweating,, its really horrible,, and when it starts getting cold,, im usually freezing,,, l have layers of fleecy pjs and dressing gowns on. And if its really bad l go to bed to try to get warm and sleep thru the pain.
I love it when its not hot,, and not cold,, 🤣 🤣 l always have to wear tiny little spaghetti strap tops when its hot,, and put the electric fan on my face, shoulders and back.
Yup I can't regulate my temp at all. I'm im Australia and it can be extremely hot and I am freezing and vice versa.
Oh yes WTS otherwise known as wonky thermostat syndrome. I’m either thinking I’m in the tropics or the North Pole - doesn’t appear to be an in between temperature. Don’t really have the answer but just to let you know you are not alone.
my husband says i have thermostat problems my body can be red hot and my hands freezing cold
Hmm, isn't this a thyroid/hormone problem? TCM/Acupressure (three "turning on the inner cooking pot" points) has suddenly brought my system back to like before fibro and it's stayed like that for 4 weeks now. Hasn't changed my cold toes tho (since fibro: 4 pairs of socks day and night, 3 in the summer; probably Raynaud). Before I was afraid winter would knock the socks off me (pardon the pun), so I developed several more layers - long johns and wrapping a third jacket around my hips. Now I don't need it any more. Whole body cryotherapy and cold showering (but better hot water bottle on my toes after) had helped a bit for that too, but it's more against the Ache than for heat/cold...
Oh yes! My internal thermostat is bust, so I can equate to that one. I'm only comfortable in a very narrow temperature band as the sun is burning, so I'm pretty stuck!
