healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hello , I have not tried any cbd products as yet but our sleeping patterns do affect us, me personally I’m a proper grump if I have a bad night with lack of sleep , and sometimes I can have 9/10 hours sleep if I’ve had a fairly productive day before, I always call them my payback days, yesterday was a full day with our little grandson he is very active and did a fair amount with him so today lots of pacing (mini rests) in between my day. I do use lavender sleep balm , and a roller ball on my wrists, differently a warm bath at night , radox have just started some new smells they are gorgeous and when I get out of bath I’m so relaxed, I go on utube sometimes after my bath and play relaxation music with my eyes closed , no tv , or phone on and just drift , even laid back music can work for me. I’ve posted a link if you want to lock your posts x

Unfortunately, I didn't have any success with the CBD oils. I tried two one for in the daytime and one for sleep at night. I gave them a good few weeks to start working but had only minimal success and realised that my IBS had got much worse. Decided to leave them off for a couple of days and then IBS started to ease, tried them again and same pattern so realised they just weren't for me. Yet I know others on here have found them very helpful for both pain and sleep so it shows what suits one doesn't suit another so they are certainly worth trying.

I wish I could help you with the sleep as I think I was born an insomniac and despite trying all the normal remedies I have just had to accept I am a very poor sleeper. Hope someone can come along with some good suggestions for you. You have my sympathy.x

I've used CBD for just over 2 years & do find it helps with some of my pain. I don't have fibro, rather the hypermobile type of a genetic disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). However, the pain we experience is most likened to fibro.

CBD can help with pain, as well as other problems such as anxiety from the medical literature I've read.

It's important to to know that CBD is broken down by a group of liver enzymes which also break down over 90+% of prescribed meds. It's therefore important to leave a 4 hour gap between taking these & CBD, otherwise you might find your meds don't work, or you might get an accidental overdose. It's also wise to leave a 2 hour gap between taking CBD & any over the counter meds.

Perhaps this is why some people try CBD & find little benefit? As everyone is different, then it will have different effects, & there's no guarantee.

I buy from a reasonably priced ethical, lab guaranteed resource, but don't think I'm allowed to post about this here.

Can I ask the moderators how to contact/PM the OP please if I shouldn't post such a link? This CBD site uses all their profits for dog welfare, so not exactly commercial.

Sleeplessness is a freebie with fibro, sometimes it just happens, I use badger balm and lushs sleepy body cream before bed but sometimes .... Nothing. My doctor advised I stay in bed because I can rest my body and I either read or play a videogame until I am sleepy. TV doesn't help for me. When it does happen I find it easier to nap in the daytime but I switch between sleeplessness and 14 hour night sleepathons so I might not be the best person to ask.

I'd rec cutting down on caffeine before bed, chamomile tea is helpful, otc sleep aids and see what happens. CBD just doesn't help.

I've tried several different brands of cbd oil for the past couple of years with different levels of success. All have helped me sleep better at night and don't need sleep during the day unless I've been extra active or had a stressful time.

I think its important to try it for yourself. As I mentioned before I tried different brands until I found the one that really suits me. My anxiety levels have reduced and I'm able to cope better with things. Pain and energy levels have also improved for me. I sleep better only wake once during the night for visit to ladies room. I am now dreaming which means I'm in a deeper state of sleep than before.

We are all individual, and how cbd interacts with our physiology will be different for each person. I leave a couple of hours gap between taking my prescribed meds (which I've reduced since starting cbd) and taking my dose of cbd.

If you want to send me a PM your'e welcome

Hope this helps - good luck

LG
